This is a GREAT alternative to a traditional white light LED flashlight. There are 21 high-intensity blue LEDs that cast a very distinctive cone of light with a very good range. Blue light is not visible to night vision systems. The size of the light allows it to fit comfortably in the hand and its crenulated end-cap helps keep it from rolling around when placed on a flat surface. Made of anodized aluminum, it’s center section has a cross-hatched diamond pattern that gives it a nice tactile feel and makes for a good grip. The on/off switch is on the end cap and it uses 3 readily available AAA batteries. It’s priced right and makes a great gift anytime of the year.
